COME AROUND, HERE TO SHINE! “2025 ROUND in Malaysia” June 21–22 | ZEPP Kuala Lumpur | A Celebration of Music, Culture, and Unity

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA | This June, Malaysia takes center stage as the proud host of the 2025 ASEAN–Korea Music Festival (“ROUND”), a spectacular two-day celebration of music and regional friendship. Set to take place from 21 - 22 June at ZEPP Kuala Lumpur, this year’s edition marks a milestone occasion as Malaysia holds the ASEAN Chairmanship and commemorates 65 years of diplomatic ties with the Republic of Korea.

Hosted by KBS WORLD, sponsored by the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation Fund (AKCF), and supported by the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the ASEAN Secretariat, 2025 ROUND in Malaysia promises an unforgettable cultural showcase featuring top artists from across ASEAN and South Korea.

Malaysia in the Spotlight

Representing the very heart and soul of Malaysian music are Marsha Milan, our celebrated “Queen of OSTs” and the nation’s iconic girl group, DOLLA. With her ethereal vocals and remarkable emotional depth, Marsha Milan first captured hearts worldwide when she lent her voice to the Bahasa Malaysia rendition of “Let It Go” for Disney’s Frozen, and she has only grown more luminous since, gracing regional soundtracks and stages alike with performances that showcase Malaysia’s rich musical heritage.

Beside her stands DOLLA, a cultural phenomenon whose fearless choreography, powerhouse vocals, and chart-topping hits have redefined what it means to be a girl group in Southeast Asia. Together, they embody Malaysia’s progressive spirit and youthful dynamism. Their performances are set to be highlights of the festival, demonstrating Malaysia’s creative excellence and cultural vitality.

An Electrifying ASEAN – Korea Lineup

The stage will feature a powerful mix of talents, including Korea’s Paul Kim (also the event host), Touched, and Dragon Pony, alongside ASEAN stars like 1st.One from the Philippines and Cambodia’s Tep Boprek. More performers from across the region will bring their unique sounds to the stage.

2025 ROUND in Malaysia: Building Bridges Across Borders

Marking its 5th anniversary milestone, the ROUND Festival has evolved into a marquee celebration of ASEAN–Korea creativity and solidarity. From its early days of livestreams to packed venues in Jakarta and Vientiane, the festival continues to unite audiences through music, movement, and multicultural
expression.

As Malaysia hosts the 2025 edition, ROUND takes on added significance as it aligns with the nation’s ongoing preparations for Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026), a flagship tourism campaign that aims to spotlight Malaysia’s diverse cultural heritage, vibrant creative industries, and warm hospitality.

This celebration also reflects the core values of Malaysia MADANI, promoting inclusivity, sustainability, and cultural harmony. The festival resonates strongly with the aspirations of the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) to forge a people-centred and people-oriented community, where arts and culture serve as a bridge of mutual understanding and shared prosperity across the region.

2025 ROUND in Malaysia reaffirms its mission to amplify ASEAN’s creative voices, strengthen regional bonds, and inspire a future where every melody becomes an invitation to unity.
