ASEAN Tourism Standard 2022-2024



7 March 2022 - The National Level ASEAN Tourism Standard Awards Ceremony 2022 2024, held in DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, on 7th March 2022 recognised a total of twentynine tourism businesses and stakeholders in the region and were awarded ASEAN Tourism Standard Awards at National level. The event was officiated by the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Malaysia, YB Dato' Sri Hajah Nancy Shukri.

The ASEAN Tourism Standard, in accordance with the ASEAN Strategic Tourism Plan 20162025, is also a standard for all ASEAN member countries and regional tourism industry players to use as a guide in providing highquality and excellent service delivery to tourists, with the goal of making ASEAN an excellent destination on a global scale.

The 14 tourism businesses and stakeholders in the region with the highest evaluation standard received the award which was held in Preah Sihanoukville, Cambodia, on 19 January 2022, during the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2022. The Ministry organised the National Level ASEAN Tourism Standard Awards Ceremony 20222024 to recognise businesses and stakeholders that have met the minimum ASEAN standards requirements.

The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Malaysia was pleased to present four categories of ASEAN Tourism Standard Awards, including the 8th ASEAN Green Hotel Award, 3rd ASEAN Clean Tourist City Award, 3rd ASEAN MICE Venue Award (Meeting Room), and 3rd ASEAN Sustainable Tourism Award, at the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2022 to recognise and honour ASEAN tourism businesses and destinations that comply with the above ASEAN Tourism Standards.

The following are the recipients of the ASEAN Tourism Awards 2022 at both the ASEAN and national levels:
