URBN.SENI
"URBN.SENI" is the inaugural Triennial Malaysia-Singapore Cultural Showcase, celebrating collaborations between both countries' creative communities at The Godown KL. From 16 to 24 November 2019, the Godown KL will come alive with curated music, visual art, film, theatre and design from some of Singapore and Malaysia's brightest young talents. All URBN.SENI events are free, and no reservations are required for events except Young Blood and Urban Sounds, whose tickets can be reserved on Eventbrite.
YOUNG BLOOD 16 November 2019, 6.30PM - 11.30PM MAIN HALL @ THE GODOWN KL
Young Blood presents the brightest upcoming talents from Singapore's and Malaysia's independent music scene, representing a multitude of genres from pop to indie rock, electronic music and more. Performers include haunting electronic duo .gif, R&B singer-songwriter NYK, indie rockers Youth Portal, bedroom producer Shye, electronic pop songstress SHN and garage rockers The Fatalis. Showcasing the best in urban contemporary music, Urban Sounds features wellknown heavy-hitters from Singapore and Malaysia. From hip-hop stars such as SonaOne, ALIF, Fariz Jabba and Yung Raja to neo-soul singer-songwriter Charlie Lim, R&B singer-songwriter Shelhiel, math rockers Playburst and indie poppers Shuuna, Urban Sounds promises a sound education for all music lovers. Check out this two-day market curated by Singaporean design label Naiise featuring 20 creative makers and brands from Singapore and Malaysia. Catch brands such as Wetteeshirt, Seniman Kakao and Hometoomuch carrying artisanal items, handcrafted wares and contemporary objects. Don't miss out on exciting workshops by Naiise in collaboration with KL co-working venue A Space To _. The market is free, with no tickets required.

Check out this pop-up by star Malaysian bartender CK Kho of KL bar Coley with guest Singaporean mixologists Jayden Ong and Colin Chia of Singaporean bar Nutmeg and Clove. Bar bites by Malaysian chef Chester Low (aka The Salted Chef) will also be served on 16 Nov.

Hailing from Singapore, Chef Nicholas Scorpion has worked in over nine cities, earning his culinary chops at Singapore's Tippling Club. Starting a new chapter in Malaysia, Chef Scorpion recently opened Jing Ze, adapting traditional Southeast Asian flavours and transforming them into modern dishes. Enjoy his menu, speciallycreated for URBN.SENI, marrying culinary influences from both Singapore and Malaysia.
3) BURGERS AND BEANS 23 & 24 November, 11AM - 7PM CONCRETE BUILDING @Â THE GODOWN KL
Burgers & Beans will offer creative grub for all. Making its first Malaysian pop-up appearance is The Quarters, bringing us a modern Singaporean take on the classic burgers and fries. For great beans and brews, PPP Coffee will be serving throughout the Maker's Market.
