Singapore - Malaysia Triennial Cultural Showcase 2025 (TCS 2025)

JOHOR BAHRU | 6 November 2025 - Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) Malaysia in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) Singapore will be organising the Singapore - Malaysia Triennial Cultural Showcase 2025 (TCS 2025). The event is scheduled to take place on 8 November 2025 at the Permaisuri Zarith Sofiah Opera House, Johor Bahru, Johor.

The TCS Programme, formerly known as the Titian Budaya Programme, is a cultural initiative introduced in 2005 to nurture and strengthen bilateral relations between Malaysia and ASEAN Member States through arts, culture, and heritage. The inaugural Malaysia - Singapore Titian Budaya Programme was held in 2008 in Singapore. The programme provided an opportunity for the people of Singapore to explore, understand, and appreciate Malaysia’s diverse culture, arts, and heritage.

Following the successful implementation of the programme, leaders of both countries agreed to continue and rebrand the programme as the Triennial Cultural Showcase (TCS) during the Singapore-Malaysia Leaders’ Retreat in 2018.

TCS 2025 marks another important milestone in regional cultural cooperation, built on mutual understanding, openness and respect between neighbouring nations. It encompasses music, dance, film, fashion, crafts, architecture and many other art forms that reflect the shared values and creative spirit of ASEAN.

In line with the Malaysia MADANI vision, this initiative not only celebrates cultural diversity but also recognises the arts as a bridge that transcends geographical and linguistic boundaries, fostering unity, compassion and shared prosperity across the region.

MOTAC believes that TCS 2025 will contribute to stronger bilateral cooperation in the cultural and creative sectors, promoting inclusivity, sustainability and the spirit of Malaysia MADANI within the ASEAN community.
